Record Your PDCs in 3 Simple Steps

Follow these steps to correctly submit your Professional Development Credits through the BDA Certification Portal and maintain your active certification status.

1

Log In to the BDA Certification Portal

Access your personal certification dashboard to view your active credentials

Visit the BDA Certification Portal at portal.bda-global.org and log in using your registered email address and password.

  • From the main dashboard, navigate to "My Certifications" to view your active credentials
  • Check your recertification cycle start and end dates
  • Review your current PDC balance and progress toward the 60-PDC requirement
  • Verify that your personal and employment details are up to date

Your recertification cycle ends on the last day of the month in which you were originally certified. Make sure to check this date and plan your PDC activities accordingly.

Add PDCs Using Your Activity Code

Enter the unique Activity Code from your BDA-approved training provider

Click "Add PDCs" from your certification dashboard. You will be prompted to enter an Activity Code from a BDA-approved provider.

  • Enter the Activity Code provided by your BDA-approved training organisation (PDP)
  • The system will automatically populate the activity title, provider name, and PDC value
  • Verify the details are correct before confirming the submission
  • If you attended a non-PDP activity, you may submit it for manual review with supporting documentation
  • Each verified training hour equals 1 PDC

Every BDA-approved program has a unique Program ID. Always request this code from your training provider before or after attending the activity — it is required for PDC recording.

Complete Your Recertification

Finalise renewal once you have achieved 60 PDCs and completed at least one full year

Once you achieve 60 PDCs — and after completing at least one full year into your recertification cycle — your portal will display: "YOU ARE NOW ELIGIBLE TO RECERTIFY"

To finalise your recertification, follow these steps in the portal:

  • Click the "Recertify Now" button in your dashboard
  • Review your complete PDC history record for accuracy
  • Update your personal and employment details
  • Confirm your agreement with the BDA Certification Terms & Conditions
  • Pay the applicable recertification fee

Upon successful completion, you will immediately receive:

  • An updated digital certificate with your new cycle dates
  • A verified digital badge for LinkedIn and professional profiles
  • A new 3-year certification cycle starting from the renewal date

You must complete at least one full year into your cycle before you can recertify — even if you have already earned 60 PDCs. Plan your activities to spread across the 3-year period.
