Policy
This policy outlines the principles governing refund requests for fees paid to the Business Development Association (BDA) for services such as certifications, memberships, accreditations, or other fee-based activities.
Scope of Application
This policy applies to all individuals or entities who have paid fees for BDA services, whether through online platforms or direct transfers.
Non-Refundable Fees
The following fees are strictly non-refundable:
- Fees for initial evaluations, accreditation file reviews, and registration for professional programs once processing has begun.
- Certification exam fees after official registration for the exam date is confirmed.
Eligible Cases for Partial Refunds
Partial refunds may be considered under the following conditions:
- Cancellations initiated by BDA due to exceptional organizational reasons.
- Duplicate payments for the same service.
- Verified technical error in the payment system.
Refund Request Procedure
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days from the date of payment.
- Requests must be sent to finance@bda-global.org with payment details and justification.
- BDA will respond to the request within 10 business days.
Refund Method
Refunds will be processed via the same payment method used for the original transaction. Please note that bank transfers may take 7–21 days depending on banking procedures and your financial institution.
Grounds for Rejection
Refund requests may be rejected for the following reasons:
- Requests not meeting the 14-day timeline or lacking sufficient justification will be rejected.
- Refunds will not be issued after partial or full use of the service (e.g., training attendance or certification issuance).
