Recertification Cycle

  • Your recertification cycle begins the day you pass your certification exam.

  • The cycle lasts 3 years and ends on the last day of your certification month.

  • If recertification is not completed within this period, you will enter a 60-day grace period with additional late fees.

  • After the grace period ends, the certificate will be permanently cancelled.

Earning 60 Professional Development Credits (PDCs)

Retaking the certification exam

This option allows you to re-certify your knowledge and competencies in accordance with BDA BoCK™ FrameworkCandidates must take the exam at the same level (BDA-CP™ or BDA-SCP™). If they pass, they are eligible for renewal for an additional three years. If they fail, their certification is revoked and they must reapply as a new candidate.
