The Accredited Government Entity – AGE™ certification is an international credential awarded to ministries and government institutions committed to implementing best practices in fostering a business-friendly environment and driving institutional and economic impact through policies, initiatives, and development programs. This designation is intended for public sector entities that aim to enhance competitiveness, support innovation, and empower the private sector while demonstrating clear adherence to transparency, governance, and continuous improvement.
Assessment is conducted using the specialized BDAAT tool, which evaluates governmental performance across five key dimensions: alignment with BDABoK®, effectiveness of policies and initiatives, quality of internal training, transparency and governance standards, and the institution's commitment to ongoing organizational development. Upon meeting the criteria and achieving a score of at least 75 out of 100, the entity is awarded an official BDA accreditation certificate, listed in the global registry of accredited entities, and granted the AGE™ badge for institutional use in performance reports, official publications, and on its website.
The AGE™ accreditation serves as a strategic tool to position the government entity within the global excellence framework, while unlocking access to international partnerships, tailored training programs, funding opportunities, and collaborative initiatives that strengthen its capabilities and long-term impact.
