The Business Development Association (BDA) is a non-profit international professional association dedicated to advancing the BD profession globally. Membership is open to any individual professional or organisation with an interest in business development, regardless of location or sector.
Individual Membership is for BD professionals who want to advance their career, access knowledge resources, and connect with the global BD community. Institutional Membership is for organisations — corporations, universities, NGOs — that want to develop their BD workforce and gain institutional recognition.
Membership and certification are separate. However, Professional Individual Members receive exclusive discounts on BDA-CP™ and BDA-SCP™ exam fees. Institutional Members receive exam enrolments as part of their plan. Certification requires passing the relevant BDA examination.
All BDA memberships are annual. You will receive a renewal notification before your membership expires. All membership fees are non-refundable and subject to updates upon renewal.
Yes. BDA offers free institutional membership for universities and educational institutions, as well as for NGOs and non-profit organisations.
