- 1–4 years of professional experience in Business Development, Sales, Marketing, or Client Relationship roles
- A bachelor’s degree in any discipline is preferred — equivalent professional experience is also considered

How long is the BDA-CP™ certification valid?
The BDA-CP™ certification is valid for 3 years from the date of issuance. After 3 years, you must complete the recertification process to maintain your credential. Recertification is based on Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities.
Can I take the exam in Arabic?
Yes. The BDA-CP™ exam is available in both English and Arabic. You can select your preferred language at the time of registration. Both language versions cover the same competency domains and are of equal difficulty.
What is the difference between BDA-CP™ and BDA-SCP™?
The BDA-CP™ (Certified Professional) is designed for early to mid-career professionals with 1–4 years of experience. The BDA-SCP™ (Senior Certified Professional) is for senior professionals with 5+ years of experience and targets strategic and leadership-level competencies. Many professionals earn BDA-CP™ first and then advance to BDA-SCP™.
Is the exam taken online or in a test centre?
The BDA-CP™ exam is delivered 100% online via computer-based testing (CBT) with remote proctoring. You can take it from anywhere in the world using your own computer. There is no requirement to visit a physical test centre.
What happens if I do not pass the exam?
Candidates who do not pass the BDA-CP™ exam may retake it. Please refer to the official Certification Handbook for detailed information on retake policies, waiting periods, and fees. We recommend reviewing the Exam Content Outline and using the BDA Learning System and practice questions before retaking.
