Accredited Non-Profit Organization (ANPO)

The Accredited Non-Profit Organization – ANPO™ designation by BDA honors non-profits committed to enhancing the business environment and promoting economic and social empowerment through impactful, sustainable initiatives. This accreditation is granted to organizations that demonstrate tangible outcomes through their programs, operate with transparency and sound governance, and invest in developing their internal teams and institutional capacity.

The evaluation process is based on the BDAAT tool, which assesses five key pillars: alignment with the BDABoK® competency framework, social and economic impact, member development and organizational capabilities, transparency and governance, and continuous improvement. Organizations that meet the minimum requirement of 75/100 receive the official ANPO™ certificate along with the accreditation badge for use in reports and communications.

This certification provides global recognition that strengthens the organization's reputation, unlocks new partnership and funding opportunities through the BDA network, and includes the organization in BDA’s official directory of accredited entities.
