Global Partnerships

The Business Development Association (BDA) collaborates with leading global institutions to elevate business development standards.

The Power of BDA Partnerships

Partnering with the Business Development Association (BDA) means joining the global authority in business development. As the gold standard for professional certifications, research, and industry frameworks, BDA empowers organizations to lead transformation, set international benchmarks, and drive sustainable growth. Our partners gain exclusive access to advanced accreditation programs, a global professional network, and the latest industry insights, positioning them as leaders in business development on an international scale.

Available Partnership Types

Exclusive Certification Provider - ECP™

The Exclusive Certification Partnership (ECP™) represents the highest level of institutional collaboration with the Business Development Association (BDA). It is granted to a maximum of two entities per country, based on rigorous selection criteria and strategic evaluation. This partnership is awarded to leading educational, training, or consulting organizations that possess the infrastructure, expertise, and standards required to deliver official preparatory programs for BDA’s core certifications. ECP™ is not merely a training license — it is a formal national representation of BDA. It is founded on strategic principles of reach, influence, methodological alignment, and ethical representation of the BDA knowledge identity. The partnership is subject to direct oversight and continuous collaboration with BDA’s central team. It is not available through open application, but rather through nomination or direct invitation from BDA’s leadership.

Professional Development Provider - PDP™

The Professional Development Partner (PDP™) partnership represents a flexible institutional model through which organizations can submit training or educational programs for review and accreditation by BDA. Each program is assessed against the standards of the BDA Body of Competence & Knowledge (BoCK™). This partnership is designed to empower organizations in offering specialized, high-quality content that supports the development of core business capabilities, without being directly linked to BDA's official certification tracks. It is an ideal model for educational centers, professional entities, community initiatives, and organizations seeking to elevate the credibility and structure of their existing programs through independent recognition. Accredited PDP™ programs are also eligible to offer recertification points for BDA credential holders, increasing the value and relevance of such programs in the broader professional ecosystem.

Academic Knowledge Partner - AKP™

The Academic Knowledge Partner (AKP™) partnership represents a collaborative framework with academic institutions aiming to align their curricula and educational content with the competencies and knowledge framework endorsed by BDA (BDA BoCK™). This partnership bridges academic learning with real-world business development applications by integrating BDA concepts into academic programs or research initiatives. It is ideal for universities, colleges, research centers, and higher education institutions seeking to enhance the employability of their graduates and elevate the quality of academic outcomes in line with global standards. The AKP partnership does not authorize the delivery of BDA professional certifications or training. Instead, it focuses on academic endorsement and intellectual alignment. Partner institutions may use the “Accredited Academic Knowledge Partner (AKP™)” emblem across their academic materials, research publications, and institutional communications.

Strategic Alliance Partner - SAP™

The Strategic Alliance Partner (SAP™) partnership reflects an advanced institutional alliance between BDA and influential national or regional entities such as ministries, chambers of commerce, government bodies, or recognized professional authorities. This partnership aims to support these institutions in adopting and disseminating BDA’s principles at the strategic level — whether through policy frameworks, public initiatives, or national capacity-building programs. It is considered an honorary and impactful partnership, designed not for training or academic alignment but for empowering systemic change and reinforcing a nationwide or sector-wide culture of sustainable business development. SAP partners are not subject to operational fees, but must demonstrate strategic alignment and ongoing collaboration with BDA in thought leadership, ecosystem initiatives, or regulatory support. The “Strategic Alliance Partner (SAP™)” emblem may be used in official communications, national programs, or public engagements where the institution supports the advancement of business development on a strategic scale.
