Accredited Internal Development Program - AIDP™

The Accredited Internal Development Program (AIDP™) is a unique institutional accreditation model designed by the Business Development Association (BDA) to formally recognize internal programs within organizations that foster business development capabilities among their staff or stakeholders. These programs may include in-house training, structured development pathways, mentoring initiatives, or customized upskilling tracks directly aligned with the BDA Body of Competency & Knowledge (BoCK™).

AIDP™ accreditation is granted to organizations that demonstrate an active commitment to internal growth through initiatives that go beyond external training providers. The accreditation affirms that the organization has designed and implemented an effective learning ecosystem that promotes innovation, market readiness, and strategic thinking within its operational culture.

Programs eligible for AIDP™ may take the form of:

• Internal workshops and coaching sessions designed for business teams

• Structured learning and development tracks tied to business growth objectives

• Enterprise-led bootcamps or capacity-building initiatives

• Employee upskilling and internal certification programs with documented outcomes

Organizations that achieve AIDP™ status receive official certification, emblem usage rights, and recognition in BDA’s global development registry. The accreditation is valid for two years, with renewal based on continued alignment and program evolution.
